Project - Piano Lady Art Deco card

This beautiful 1920s lady card has a real Art Deco feel to it.

For this one print:-

The Piano lady motifs onto quality white card
The Piano lady background onto quality white paper (or card)
The Pekingese lady background onto quality white paper
The Art Deco decorations template sheet onto the back of silver metallic card

The Art Deco decorations template sheet can downloaded for free by clicking here. Click on the link to open the image in Adobe Acrobat reader - if you need it you can download it for free by clicking on the button below.

To make the card, stick one of the large motifs, a greeting and the border strip from the motif sheet onto silver metallic card and trim round with a craft knife and ruler to leave a small border (top and bottom only for the border).

Cover the front of an A5 ivory card blank with the striped Pekingese lady backing paper using double-sided tape. Stick a 3.5cm piece of the piano lady backing paper to the bottom of the card, then add the cut-to-size border piece.

Cut out the two Art Deco decorations from the template sheet and make up the decorations with double-sided tape (widest piece at the bottom of the pile, through to tallest/narrowest piece on top).

Stick them to back of the motif with double-sided tape, then stick the whole piece to the card blank with sticky pads.

Finally, add the greeting with double-sided tape or sticky pads.
