Project - Victorian Robin card

Lovely traditional Robin Christmas card.

For this one print:-

The Robin motifs onto quality white card
The burgundy wording sheet from the Victorian paper pad onto quality white paper
The burgundy snowflakes sheet from the Victorian Snowflakes paper pad onto quality white paper

Using a 7" x 5" cream or ivory card blank, cut away a 2.5cm strip from the front using a craft knife and ruler. Cut a 17.5 x 5cm strip of the wording paper and stick it inside the card blank with double-sided tape so that it shows through the cut-out part of the card.

Cover the front of the card with the burgundy snowflake paper from the Victorian snowflakes paper pad.

Stick one of the small robin motifs onto a larger piece of gold metallic card with double-sided tape and trim round with your craft knife and ruler to leave a small border. Stick (vertically) centrally to the card blank with double-sided tape so that the piece slightly overlaps the cut-out side of the card.

Add narrow double-sided tape to the back of some gold narrow ribbon (or use sticky ribbon). Stick a piece around the front part of the card, and also around the wording paper on the inside/back of the card. Make sure the ribbon overlaps the back parts by a good few centimetres or it will come unstuck.

Add a greeting with double-sided tape or sticky pads and finish the card with a ribbon bow that's been stuck with a strong tacky glue such as Aleene's.
