Project - Lilac Michaelmas Daisy card

Lovely simple card using the luscious lilac daisy background.

For this one print:-

The Michaelmas Daisy motifs onto quality white card.
The lilac daisy background onto quality white card.
The Michaelmas daisy pyramage onto quality white card (for the greeting).

For this card I've made a C6 card blank from the daisy print card directly, rather than sticking another piece to a ready-made card blank (although you can still do that if you want to). Make sure that you print using the borderless or edge-to-edge setting on your printer for this.

Once printed, cut your A4 card in half (148.5mm approximately), then lightly score and fold. Don't worry if the card doesn't quite match up once folded - trim it with your craft knife and ruler afterwards.

Cut out one of the small Michaelmas daisy motifs and a greeting, then stick them both to larger pieces of silver metallic card and trim around each to leave a small border.

Mount the motif to the card blank so that it's around 1cm from the spine of the card and 8mm from the top.

Stick the greeting to the corner of the card as shown - use double-sided tape where the greeting overlaps the motif but build up a couple of layers of scrap card behind the rest. This way the greeting should sit evenly.

Finish the card by adding a ribbon bow made with narrow lilac ribbon using a strong tacky glue such as Aleene's.
