Project - Dogtooth Violet Mother's Day Pyramage Card

These Dogtooth Violets look very much like daffodils, perfect for cards for Easter and Mother's Day.

For this one print:-

The Dogtooth Violet large pyramage sheet onto quality white card
The yellow floral trail paper from the Pink and Yellow Digital Paper Pad onto quality white paper

To make the card, cut a piece of silver metallic card in half to cover the front of a white or ivory A5 card blank.

Cut a piece of the yellow floral background paper to 20 x 13.5cm and stick it to the metallic card with double-sided tape, centred nicely.

Make up the pyramage stack - I've done this one with just another layer of scrap card between each piece, stuck with double-sided tape.

This was because I came to the conclusion that I have so many pyramage cards made up with sticky pads that are just too thick to post. By making up the stacks with card instead, it makes them much firmer - and more importantly, thinner and less bulky to send through the post.

I'll probably do them all with card from now on......

Once you've made up the stack, stick both this and a greeting onto larger pieces of silver metallic card with double-sided tape and trim round with a craft knife and ruler to leave a small border.

Stick both pieces to the card blank with double-sided tape.
