Project - Hawthorn Girl card

The pretty pink background paper and border strip used here look beautiful with the Hawthorn girl motif.

To make this card, print the following:-

The dusky pink background paper (from FC-1) onto hammer white paper
The Hawthorn girl motifs onto white textured card
The Hawthorn girl pyramage (for the greeting) onto white linen card

The Hawthorn girl motifs can downloaded for free by clicking here. Click on the link to open the image in Adobe Acrobat reader - if you need it you can download it for free by clicking on the button below.

Cut out one of the small motifs with a craft knife and ruler and mount it onto a larger piece of ivory hammer card with double-sided tape. Trim around to leave a 3mm border.

Cut an 11 x 7cm piece of hammer ivory card and mount the motif piece to this one with sticky pads for a lovely raised effect. Stick the whole piece to an A6 hammer ivory card blank with double-sided tape.

Cut a 3cm strip of the background paper to fit the front of the card blank and a 10.4cm length of the narrow border and stick both pieces to the bottom of the card with double-sided tape.

The greeting here has been cut out and mounted onto a larger piece of hammer ivory card which has been cut into a tag shape with a craft knife and ruler.

Stick it to the card blank with d-s tape and add a cream/ivory ribbon bow which has been made from narrow ribbon with a strong tacky glue such as Aleene's.
