The 'V'-shaped border on this card came about by accident but it seems to add a real Art Deco feel!

To make the card, cover the front of a cream or ivory 7" x 5" card blank with the floral background using double-sided tape.
Cut out one of the 8cm wide motifs, a greeting and the border strip from the pyramage sheet with a craft knife and ruler.
Mount the motif onto a larger piece of silver metallic card with double-sided tape then trim round with a craft knife and ruler to leave a small border. Do the same with the greeting except this time mount it onto a scrap of ivory card instead.
Cut the border strip into two and lay one piece at an angle on the card so that the bottom edge sits right in the middle of the bottom of the card blank. When you're happy it's positioned correctly, cut the middle edge with a craft knife and ruler. Use that edge to determine where the cut on the second piece should go. Stick both pieces together at the back with a scrap of tape, then cut the outside edges last. Stick the piece to the card with double-sided tape.
Add another layer of card to the centre of the greeting and stick with double-sided tape.
Lastly, add the motif piece with sticky pads.
