Project - Fred & Ginger You're Not card

I just love this Fred & Ginger image, it's just fabulous!

This card features a little top hat and cane that are included on the Fred & Ginger motif sheet.

To make the card, completely cover the front of a cream or ivory A5 card blank with the Fred & Ginger backing paper using double-sided tape.

Mount the largest motif, a 14.8cm piece of the border strip and a greeting onto larger pieces of silver metallic card with double-sided tape and trim round with a craft knife and ruler to leave a small border (top and bottom only for the border strip).

Stick the motif and border piece into place on the card with double-sided tape.

Cut out a top hat and cane from the motif sheet with small/decoupage scissors. I've trimmed the ball-bit of the cane a bit smaller and stuck a silver 'hole' from a standard hole punch onto it with a little dab of Aleene's tacky glue.

As both of these pieces are stuck onto varying thicknesses of card, you will need to add a couple of layers of scrap card to both pieces to even out them out once stuck. I used tiny strips for the cane and stuck them with glue applied with a cocktail stick as I'd never have got double-sided tape to stay in place!

Once you've added the extra layers, arrange the top hat, greeting and cane at the bottom of the card and when you're happy with the arrangement, stick into place with Aleene's or double-sided tape.
