Project - Strawberry Shortcake Mother's Day card

This pretty Mother's Day card is just the thing for mum. It can easily be made into a birthday card by using one of the other greetings in the set.

An 7" x 5" card was used here. As with the other cards in this set, an ivory card blank is best. If you don't have the right colour, you can print our plain ivory sheet onto your white card or card blank to make one.

For this card print:-

The Strawberry Shortcake motifs onto quality white card
The Kitchen Minis 1 sheet onto quality white card
The Kitchen Minis 3 sheet onto quality white paper
The Kitchen Minis 4 sheet onto quality white card
The Kitchen Minis 4 sheet can downloaded for free by clicking here. Click on the link to open the image in Adobe Acrobat reader - if you need it you can download it for free by clicking on the button below.

The Kitchen Utensils background sheet (pink) onto quality white paper
The Polka dot background (pink) onto quality white paper

Cover the front of your 7" x 5" card blank with the kitchen utensils paper using double-sided tape. Add a 4cm strip of the pink polka dot paper to the bottom of the card.

Cut out the strawberry shortcake image and recipe, and a Mother's Day greeting with your craft knife and ruler. Also cut out a spatula with small scissors/craft knife.

Arrange these items on the front of the card and when you're happy with the arrangement, stick them into place with sticky pads.

For the little recipe book, cut out a cover and around 4-5 of the mini recipes with a craft knife and ruler. Add 3mm tape to the left hand side of each page and make a little stack of pages, finishing by adding the stack to the recipe book cover and folding it over. If you don't have 3mm tape, cut a strip to this size from 6mm or 12mm tape.

Stick the recipe book to the card blank with further double-sided tape.
