Download - Set - Oliver Herford's Cats

Oliver Herford (1863-1935) was a British born (but American) humourist writer and illustrator who is well known for his poems and quotes as well as for his artwork for books and magazines.

The images used in this set are from his book 'The Kitten's Garden of Verses' which was first published in 1911. The pictures are very subtle and interesting - mainly pencil-drawn with just a little colour.

This set includes motif sheets, pyramage, large pyramage, background panels and backing papers. Some of the motif sheets also include cute poems, mainly from the original book although one or two we've written ourselves!

The pyramage pieces can easily be cut out with a craft knife and ruler and stacked using sticky pads or silicone glue to create a fantastic 3-dimensional 'pyramid' shape.

The pyramage sheets are best printed onto a good-quality white lightweight card (up to 225gsm) so that your completed stack doesn't end up too thick! Thicker card can be used for the motifs, whilst the backgrounds can be printed onto either paper or card.
