Project - Jazz Man card

This Jazz man image is one of my favourites in this set (I love slightly more abstract pictures!)

This card has had a 3cm part of the front cut away to reveal the background inside.

For this one print:-

The Jazz man motifs onto quality white card
The Jazz man pyramage onto quality white card (for the greeting and border)

An ivory 7" x 5" card blank has been used here. If you don't have an ivory card, you can print our plain ivory sheet shown below onto one of your white card blanks. Cut 3cm away from the front right-hand-side of the card.

Using a craft knife and ruler, cut out one of the large motifs, a 17.5 x 4cm piece of the background, a greeting and the border strip from the pyramage sheet.

Stick the background piece to the inside of the card blank, on the right hand side so it's seen when the card is closed.

Stick the motif, border strip and a greeting onto larger pieces of gold metallic card with double-sided tape and trim round the motif and greeting to leave a small border. Cut a length of the border piece to fit the front of the card, and another 4cm piece to go inside the card. Stick both pieces into place with double-sided tape, making sure they match up so that it has the appearance of a continued border when the card is closed.

Stick the motif piece into place with d-s tape centrally, so that it overlaps the cut edge of the card by about 1cm.

Add the greeting with double-sided tape/sticky pads. Finish the card with a gold ribbon bow stuck with a strong tacky glue such as Aleene's.
