This is a lovely card for a new baby boy featuring a gorgeous baby bottle and miniature birth announcement.

To make the card, cut a piece of the background to measure 16.8 x 11.8cm and stick it to a larger piece of silver metallic card measuring approximately 17.8 x 12.5cm (to fit the front of a white 7" x 5" card blank). Stick it to the card with double-sided tape and trim with a craft knife and ruler if necessary.

Cut out one of the 11cm tall motifs and your chosen greeting and stick them both to larger pieces of silver metallic card with double-sided tape before trimming round with a craft knife and ruler to leave a small border.

Cut out one of the miniature birth announcements together with the baby bottle piece. For the baby bottle, cut out the whole thing, the white and the coloured part together and then trim off the coloured piece.

Using a cocktail stick, roll up the white part by first starting by winding it round a cocktail stick and continuing to roll to the end. Let it out a little if you need to, then stick it with double-sided tape or tacky glue. The coloured teat-part of the bottle is made in a similar way but I invested in a quilling too here for this as rolling it with a cocktail stick didn't produce a tight-enough coil.

You can either roll the piece, graduating it as you go - or roll it straight then push out the teat-shape with your quilling tool afterwards (I had more success with the second method for this). Once you've achieved the desired shape, ease a little tacky glue into it with a cocktail stick so that it stays in place.

Once the two parts of the bottle are made, stick the top to the white part of the bottle with tacky glue.

To assemble the card, arrange the motif, greeting, miniature birth announcement and baby bottle in place and when you're happy with the arrangement, stick the motif in place with sticky pads, the greeting and birth announcement with double-sided tape and the baby bottle with a strong tacky glue such as Aleene's.
