It's a shame that you can't really tell from the picture how beautifully shimmery and sparkly this card is!

This one's made using pearlescent card for the motif and glitter card for the background.

For this one print:-

The Mermaid Fairies Motif sheet onto (snow) white pearlescent card
The Mermaid Fairies background onto white Stardust glitter card card or paper

Did you know you can print onto glitter card?! Now, make sure that it's Stardust brand or similar glitter card that you have or are buying. This is the sort of card that has the glitter encapsulated into the card and not the kind with the loose sugary glitter on it. Don't try printing on the latter, might make a bit of a mess in your printer!

To make this card, cut out a large motif and mount it onto a larger piece of silver metallic card with double-sided tape before trimming round with a craft knife and ruler to leave a small border. Repeat with a piece of white glitter card.

Cover the front of a white 5" x 7" card blank with the swirl background that's been printed onto glitter card. Alternatively, print the background directly onto the glitter card and make your card blank with that.

Stick a 14mm strip of the swirl background onto a larger piece of white glitter card and trim top and bottom to leave a white border (or use the border strip from the motif sheet).

Arrange both pieces on the card and when you're happy with the positioning, stick into place with double-sided tape.
