Project - Mistletoe Girl Christmas Card

This pretty card was made using the Mistletoe Girl downloadable motifs from the Victorian Christmas downloadable set.

For this one print:-

The Mistletoe Girl motif sheet onto quality white card
The Mistletoe Girl pyramage sheet onto quality white card (for the border and greeting)

Cut a 3cm strip of the backing to fit the front of an A6 cream card blank. Stick to the card with double-sided tape.

Cut a piece of the border strip to the width of the card blank and mount onto a larger piece of silver metallic card with further tape. Trim with a craft knife and ruler to leave a small border. Stick it to the card/backing so that around 2cm of the backing is still showing.

Mount a small motif to a larger piece of silver metallic card and trim around to leave a small border. Cut a piece of matching cream card so that it's about 3mm bigger than the motif piece all round (6mm more than the piece measures). Stick the motif piece to the cream card with sticky pads - this adds dimension. Stick the whole piece to the card blank with double-sided tape.

For the tag, mount a greeting onto a larger piece of cream card and trim to make a tag shape. Stick it to the card blank with a combination of sticky pads and double-sided tape (d-s tape over the border strip, sticky pads where the tag is over the backing).

Finish the card by adding a ribbon bow that's been made from narrow ivory/cream satin ribbon and stuck with Aleene's tacky glue.
