I love the blues and greens of the background on this card.
For this one print:-
The Leyland & Fiat motifs onto 250gsm Print Perfect card (or similar)
The Leyland & Fiat background onto 90, 120 or 160gsm Print Perfect paper (or similar)
The GC Assorted Miniatures sheet onto white printer paper
The GC Miniature Maps sheet onto white printer paper (optional)
To make the card, stick a 20 x 14cm piece of the background paper onto a piece of A5 silver metallic card with double-sided tape. Stick to an A5 cream card blank and trim with a craft knife and ruler if necessary. I've used 160gsm paper to print the background onto, but you could also use a lighter paper if you prefer.
Cut out one of the large motifs and stick it onto a larger piece of silver metallic card with double-sided tape before trimming around with a craft knife and ruler to leave a small border. Do the same with one of the greetings.
Cut out one of the mini newspapers and the two maps from the assorted miniatures sheet.
To make the newspaper, fold up the piece with either another piece of plain paper the same size or another 'newspaper' to give it a bit more depth. Use double-sided tape to hold the pages together.
I've used a map of Scotland here and one of England & Wales which are both on the dedicated maps sheet, but if you're not fussed about what maps they are, you can just use the two from the assorted miniatures sheet. Cut out the maps and fold them into quarters, sealing closed with double-sided tape.
For the speedometer and compass, I've used 16mm clear dome stickers here (from Ebay). Stick them to the appropriate sized piece on the assorted miniatures sheet, then trim round with small scissors. There are other sized dials on the sheet in case you happen to have different sized dome stickers.
To assemble the card, arrange the items on the card blank until you're happy with the arrangement. Add the picture and greeting with sticky pads and the newspaper, maps and speedo/compass with double-sided tape.
