Angel cake card

This pretty card is perfect as a little girl's Christmas card - I'll be doing this one for my daughter this year!

An A5 white card blank has been used here. The Christmas patchwork background can downloaded for free by clicking here. Click on the link to open the image in Adobe Acrobat reader - if you need it you can download it for free by clicking on the button below.

Print the Christmas patchwork background onto good quality white paper - I've used hammer paper here. Cut a 20 x 14cm piece and stick it to the front of the card blank with double-sided tape.

Print the pink angel cake recipe onto good quality white card - this one was printed onto hammer card. Cut out the recipe with a trimmer or craft knife and ruler. Stick the recipe onto a large piece of silver metallic card and trim to leave a narrow border. Smooth down the edges of the metallic card if necessary using the back of your finger nail. Stick the whole piece onto the card blank with further double-sided tape.

Cut out the two angels, two pieces of cake and a wooden spoon with small pointed scissors such as decoupage scissors (there are more angels on item 13212). This is a little time consuming if you've used thicker card like I have but quicker if you print onto thinner card.

Stick the cutouts to the card blank using a combination of sticky pads and double-sided tape.
