All of the illustrations in this collection are by Margaret Lace Roscoe (1786-1840) who was an English botanical illustrator.

She contributed illustrations to one of the early lithographed botanical books "Monandrian Plants of the Order Scitamae" (1824-29) written by her father-in-law William Roscoe, a botanist and patron of the arts and sciences in Liverpool.
