The illustrations in this collection are by pupils of Howard Pyle, who ran his own school of art and illustration in the early 20th century.

Notable pupils of his include Jessie Willcox Smith, Newell Convers Wyeth and Ethel Franklin Betts, all of whom have dedicated graphics collections.

Pictures in this collection include those by Elenore Abbott, Sarah Stilwell, Elizabeth Shippen Green and Elizabeth Bonsall as well as a few extras by Ethel Franklin Betts.

Images in this collection range from 910 pixels wide/tall to 4160px wide/tall.

Please note:- the downloads for graphics collections are in jpeg format in ZIP files which need to be extracted before you can open the images.
