All of the gorgeous Victorian children featured in this set have been taken, perhaps surprisingly, from a book entitled Old Father Christmas which was originally published in 1888.

Although there were two Christmas pictures at the start of the book (which will be used in another Printable Heaven set), the rest of the book consists of really pretty children and flowers which perhaps would have been better in a book with a more summery title!

The artist responsible for these lovely pictures was my favourite Victorian children's book artist, Lizzie Lawson whose husband Robert wrote the accompanying verses and words.

This set features 36 sheets including motifs, pyramage, greetings and lovely damask-patterned backgrounds which look fantastic when used together with the corresponding pyramage and motifs.

There are two sizes of motif on each sheet, the smaller ones being suitable for A6 and DL cards whilst the larger ones are great for 7 x 5 and A5 cards.

The pyramage pieces should be cut out with a craft knife and ruler and stacked, one on top of the next, and stuck with sticky pads or silicone glue.
