The background paper used here matches both the showjumping and horse-racing images in this set.

Using a craft knife and ruler, cut out one of the small motifs, a greeting plus a 10.4 x 3cm piece and a 10.4 x 1.5cm piece of the backing.

Mount the motif, small backing strip and the greeting onto larger pieces of silver metallic card with double-sided tape, then trim round with a craft knife and ruler to leave a small border.

Stick the larger border piece to the bottom of a white C6 card blank and add the border strip, both with double-sided tape. Add the motif with sticky pads.

The greeting is built up at the back with 2 layers of card so that it sits flat on the card where the levels of the border strip and backing are different - stick with double-sided tape.

To finish the card, use a strong tacky glue such as Aleene's to stick a ribbon bow that's been made from silver metallic ribbon.
