This gorgeous set is a little different from most of our others but we think you'll love it!

The set contains lovely 'recipe cards', all of which feature a delicious recipe containing one of the yummiest things in the world - chocolate!

The scrummy images and recipes were originally published in a book entitled 'Chocolate and Cocoa Recipes and Home Made Candy Recipes' by Janet Mckenzie Hill and Maria Parloa right at the beginning of the 20th century. We have taken them and added some real Parisian chic to make card adornments you're sure to enjoy.

A word of warning if you want to make any of the sweeties - the recipes are over 100 years old and therefore techniques and ingredients are sure to have changed! We haven't tried out any of them ....... yet!

We have come up with a range of greeting card designs using the recipe cards and you can even make a wonderful little recipe book - why not tuck it inside your card as an additional gift?

In fact, when we were photographing the cards, a couple of the girls in the office were having a chat and came up with some great ideas for this set. Why not get a cheap mixing bowl and wooden spoon together with the recipe ingredients, add the recipe book and do it up in cellophane with a big bow to finish? Together with one of the greeting cards it makes a beautiful and thoughtful gift at a pretty reasonable cost that is bound to delight the recipient. Why not try this as a school fayre or charity fund-raiser?
