Lovely Christmas cookie recipe card featuring a cute little rolling pin which is simply made with our printable sheet.

Cut a piece of the gingham background to cover the front of an A5 white card blank and stick it using double-sided tape.

Cut out one of the Christmas recipe cards with a craft knife and ruler. Stick it to a larger piece of silver metallic card and trim around to leave a small border. Add sticky pads to the back and attach it to the left hand side of the card blank.

The 'pastry' here is made from a piece of lemon fun foam (Craft Planet 'ivory'). Cut a piece to around 4.5 x 3.5cm then hand-cut with small scissors to make a rolled-out pastry shape. Using a small circle punch, cut out a circle before sticking it to the card blank with double-sided tape. Punch out two more circles from the fun foam and stick those further down the card.

The little rolling pin is made by rolling the long white strip from the Christmas Extras sheet around a cocktail stick. Stick double-sided tape to one end of the paper, remove the backing and start rolling from the other (non-sticky) end. It doesn't matter too much if the roll goes a little skew-whiff as you can tap it down on your work-surface to level it up. When it's even, stick down the little roll with the tape.

Make the handles of the rolling pin in the same way, using the little red triangles from the Extras sheet. It's helpful with these to add double sided tape to the point of the triangle before cutting them out. Once cut, remove the backing of the double-sided tape and start rolling round a cocktail stick from the wide end. Try and roll as evenly as possible although you should be able to move it one way or the other once it's finished if you don't like how it's ended up.

Once you've finished the white main part and two red handles, trim a cocktail stick so that it fits inside the rolling pin and handles without showing. Add some tacky glue down the stick and push all three parts onto it. Allow to dry.

For the baking powder, cut out the long baking powder piece from the Extras sheet. Roll in the same way as the rolling pin and fix with double-sided tape.

For the butter, cut two pieces of fun foam measuring 2.5 x 1.5cm. Using double-sided tape, stick the pieces together then stick the cut-out butter paper to it. Fold it around the fun foam, creasing firmly - fold the ends of the packet much like a present. Leave one end of the butter packet open and cut tiny pieces of fun foam to make little pieces of butter. It's helpful with most of the fun foam pieces to add double-sided tape to it before cutting or punching it to save cutting fiddly bits of tape later.

The butter packet can be stuck to the card using double-sided tape but make sure the rolling pin and baking powder are stuck firmly using (Aleene's) tacky glue.
