Spin a Yarn or Two: Embroidery in Crafting
Share
Our embroidery section is still in its infancy, but worry not, we'll soon be stocking it with plenty more great products for those of you who are adept with a needle and thread, and those of you who are just getting a start with embroidery.
Currently, we stock a modest array of threads, yarns and needles, including a sewing kit with ten different coloured threads, a tape measure, a thimble, and needles.
Now, we thought it would bear mentioning the many (and we do indeed mean "many") ways that you can incorporate embroidery and sewing into your crafting.
A great way to use embroidery in crafting is to take something plain, such as a tote bag, zipper pouch or cloth, and stitch a lovely design on the front. This could be anything from a simple floral design, to a repeating pattern that covers the whole surface. If you're crafty with clothes, you can embroider designs or patches onto garments; for example, taking a denim jacket and stitching an eye-catching design onto it.
You can check out our range of embroidery and sewing products here.
