Tools of the Trade: Tools in Crafting
Share
A workman is lost without his tools, and whilst that isn't necessarily true of crafty people, there are a whole lot of instruments at our disposal that can make our lives easier. We've already covered a few in our previous articles: glue guns, embossing folders and such, but today we're going into a little more detail.
Commencing with perhaps our most dear albeit incredibly useful product, we have the arts and crafts knife. Knives have a great number of uses in crafting, particularly for any kind of precision cutting job. They can be used to cut fabric, thicker paper materials such as card or cardboard, score wood, or cut linoleum ready for printing.
Next up, we have the multi-purpose heat tool. If you're looking to quickly dry adhesive, shrink plastic or cure embossing powders, this is a formidable tool to have in your crafting arsenal. It can be used across multiple materials.
As simplistic as they may be, where would we be without scissors, rulers, pencil sharpeners and erasers? We think you know the answer. We stock plenty of these for all of your drawing, erasing and cutting out needs. We even have a cat ruler. That's right. A cat ruler.
